After forming in August 2014, Furian set out to take the world by storm and are growing to be a real hope for British rock music. Now in their third year, they have earnt their stripes as a band and have truly been to hell and back together, dead set on their music reaching the world stage. Furian’s emotional and heartfelt sound is both Earth shattering and heart wrenching and has been described as schizophrenic due to the mood swings that are ever so obvious in their songs. Influenced by bands such as Letlive, Linkin Park, Deftones, Paramore and Reuben they are no strangers to sonic power and their friendly, down to earth and kind nature transforms into a monster every time they hit the stage.
In a world full of bands trying to be each other and with the sad passing of many of rock music’s long time heroes, rock needs some reinforcement. Turning the radio on doesn’t hit you like it used to and musical variety is dwindling. Furian are here to help fill that void, sometimes starting with a dreamy melody and finishing with a deafening cataclysm, leaving no room for apologies. They have a uniqueness that many bands never will.
Furian made their Kerrang debut in 2016 after just two years together and received a glowing review for their track ‘What’s Up’. Noticing that it was the most talked about track of the playlist, they finally had it in stone that they were really onto something. Since the debut, their influence, radio presence and message is growing with each passing day. After playing shows with bands such as “Norma Jean” and “Vanity Draws Blood” they have shown that they can play at any level and entertain a crowd of any size. With two UK tours under their belt already, and fans all over the world, Furian plan to hit the road at every future opportunity. There aren’t many venues who will not welcome them with open arms.
This band make it clear that they are about community, about making a difference through music, bringing people together and reassuring those in need that they are never alone. Their 2016 singles are a testament to that and combine a huge guitar-fuelled wall of sound with themes of hope and positivity. These are themes that run in Furian’s veins. Every Furian fan is always reminded of their worth in following the band and always has a place to turn In the best or worst of times. This is perhaps the most important thing of all. Furian’s personal connection with their ever growing fan-base is a strong reminder of what music is all about.
This year sees Furian working on their debut full length album ‘Approach:Descend’. The band have promised yet another captivating emotional rollercoaster and mark our words they will deliver.
If it’s fresh, exciting and powerful music with true meaning that you are looking for, then look no further.
